Dehlinger Altamont Pinot Noir 2016

About

We look forward every year to the arrival of this, one of America’s true benchmark wines. The Dehlinger family’s Goldridge Pinot Noir is one of those mainstay Russian River Pinots you simply cannot live without. It’s unabashedly Californian in that way that Pinot Noir lovers find irresistible. You’d never confuse it with Burgundy, but, then again. you’d never want to. In 2016, it’s a particularly scintillating wine. Beautiful red color, a nose rich with brilliant black cherries, sandalwood/cinnamon-like spice and a palate that fills the mouth beautifully, it brings the California sunshine right to your nose and palate.
