Avancia Godello 2013

About

Avancia Godello is a white wine produced from the appellation of origin Valdeorras by Avancia, belonging to the group Jorge Ordoñez. Avancia Godello is a varietal from Godello. The grapes originate from old vineyards averaging 40 years old planted on sloping lands at 500 meters above sea level. The soils are predominantly made up of chalk and granite, which gives the wine a special mineral touch. The harvest is completed by hand, in small containers that prevent any unwanted damage to the grape before its arrival to the winery. On its arrival, there is a process selection of the best grapes. The fermentation take places in large French oak barrels of 500-600 litres, where the wine is aged for 7 months. A tasty Godello, lots of character combined with salty and mineral memories.
