Our son, Juel, embodies the wildness of our farm. Since he was a young boy, he has roamed freely and courageously through our 140 acres of forests, fields, and vines. This wine is a testament to his staunchly individual spirit, creativity, and joyous heart. It is a blend of the six selections of Pinot Noir grown at Antiquum Farm, which in concert convey the many dimensions of our vineyard in a complete estate wine. The 2019 Juel displays an inherent sense of movement through the entire spectrum of the vineyard, from the higher, ethereal tones at the edges to the deep and brooding middle, all tied together by a seamless and consistent structural foundation.
